Hiking in West Jutland
Explore the unique landscape around Nymindegab, where Ringkøbing Fjord meets the North Sea. Here, you'll find marked hiking trails that take you through the dunes, along the fjord, and out to the crashing waves of the North Sea. The distinctive West Jutland nature provides the perfect setting for everything from a short evening stroll to a longer Sunday hike with a packed lunch—or even a hunt for amber along the beach.
If you're vacationing with your dog, you can easily clean off sandy paws in our dog wash after a walk.

Hop on your bike and experience the contrasts between the roaring North Sea and the tranquil Ringkøbing Fjord. The panoramic route from Nymindegab to Bork Havn and Nørre Nebel showcases the unique nature of West Jutland: spot the rich birdlife at Tipperne, and take a break by the colorful sails of windsurfers on the fjord.
The 42 km route is perfect for a family day trip—and it starts right from our campsite.
